Herzl/RMHA provides tuition assistance to 45 percent of our student body.
As a community school, Herzl/RMHA at the Denver Campus is committed to providing a superior secular and Judaic education for every child, regardless of the family's ability to pay. Assistance is awarded at varying levels based on need and including many variables, such as family income, number of children, and unusual medical expenses.
The school's Tuition Assistance Committee oversees the program. All applications and financial information are handled with high standards of confidentiality. Confidentiality on the part of both Herzl/RMHA and the parents is a key element of the program.
Steps to Applying for Tuition Assistance:
1) Check "yes" on your Application form to request Tuition Assistance information.
2) You will receive a Parents' Financial Statement (PFS). Please complete it and send the original to the School Scholarship Service (SSS), an impartial service of the National Association of Independent Schools. You may also apply online at www.nais.org/go/sss. Send a copy of the completed PFS, a copy of your IRS 1040 form (and all schedules) and W-2 forms to Herzl/RMHA.
3) The School and Student Services for Financial Aid uses a formula to analyze need and provides Herzl/RMHA with a preliminary estimate of your family's ability to pay for educational expenses.
4) After reviewing the foregoing information, the Tuition Assistance Committee makes a grant determination for your child or children.
You may think you do not qualify for tuition assistance. There is more information available here.
